The Commercial Therapeutic Area Lead (TA) works together with the R&D TA Lead to develop and oversee execution of a comprehensive TA Strategy.
A key responsibility of the joint leaders is to build and maintain a fully integrated and aligned Therapeutic Area Leadership Team and to work with functional heads to ensure execution of the TA portfolio is aligned with the TA priorities.The Commercial TA Lead is also responsible for leading the Commercial Development TA team to develop and implement global marketing and medical affairs strategies aligned with the TA priorities.
